About
Necho is a vertical-slice prototype set in a dystopian world where nature has been suppressed by a steam-powered industrial regime. Players embody a young guardian on a mission to rescue the imprisoned Forest Spirit — the last hope for the natural world.
Key Learnings
Throughout the project, I learned the importance of clear task distribution and regular communication to keep the team aligned. On the technical side, I gained experience debugging complex player-enemy interactions and managing state transitions. Balancing creative vision with practical implementation was a constant challenge but also one of the most rewarding parts.
